Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp revealed the nature of the injury suffered by Reds captain Jordan Henderson.

According to the Mirror newspaper, Klopp sent a message of assurance to the fans that Henderson would be ready for Sunday's match at Anfield against Wolverhampton.

"Henderson is fine," Klopp said. "He was kicked in the leg and was bleeding afterwards, but he said he could continue playing."


According to the official website of Liverpool, the club reached an agreement with Stuttgart, to return loaned player Nathaniel Phillips in January.

Nathaniel Phillips has participated in 11 games in all tournaments with the German club since last summer.

Phillips will return to the Reds from next month, to be available under coach Juergen Klopp, starting January 5, in the Everton Cup match.


The official website of Liverpool announced today, Friday, the new date for the Reds match against West Ham, wich was postponed from round 18

The match is scheduled to take place on January 24th, at 8:00 local time GMT.


Liverpool announced oficially today, the wearing of shirts with the golden badge of the Club World Cup champion in the upcoming Wolverhampton match.

According to the official account of Liverpool via "Twitter", the team will wear shirts bearing the slogan "Club World Cup champion" for only one match, after obtaining an exception from the English Football Association

The club also pointed out that the team will wear shirts with the same logo in the Champions League until a new team is crowned the Club World Cup

The English FA regulations stipulate that no slogans will be placed for any non-affiliate championship.
