Lallana and Klopp can't get enough

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana said the team's voracity for titles has become "addicting" as it seeks to win the FIFA Club World Cup for the first time after winning the Champions League.

"It is like addiction when you win a medal, you want to get another. You want to get more, we are European champions and we want to be world champions too. There are not many people who can say that .. We have another title ahead, so let's do that,"

The final at the Khalifa International Stadium will be a replay of the Intercontinental Cup in 1981, when Zico led the Brazilian team to a 3-0 victory over Liverpool in Tokyo.

With the same mentality, Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp expressed his hope that he will take his team to a certain stage, during which it is difficult for his players to remember the winning of some championships due to the large number of titles they've been crowned.

"It is just the beginning, we must think that we will meet after 20 or 30 years and look back and recover the memories of the tournaments we won, and we don't remember whether they were in 2019 or 2020, this is the plan."
