No Home Games??

Updated: Jun 2, 2020

The Premier League released the following statement on Friday afternoon:

The Premier League’s ambition is to complete all of our remaining fixtures this season home and away, where possible.
We are working with our clubs to ensure risks are assessed and minimised, while co-operating with the police at a local and national level.
Discussions with the National Police Chiefs' Council and UK Football Policing Unit have been positive and are continuing. We are prepared for all outcomes and have a neutral venue contingency.

This would mean that Liverpool will have to play the next games in neutral venues, including the derby versus Everton FC, this may lead to the Reds crowned champions away from home.

What do you think about this decision Reds? is that a wise decision ? is it fair for Liverpool ?

Earlier today Liverpool FC remembered the 39 football fans who lost their lives at Heysel Stadium in Belgium on this day 35 years ago, for the count of the champions league Final, or as it was called back then, The European Cup.

Flags across all club sites were flown at half-mast today.

As a mark of respect to those who died, a floral tribute was placed beside the Heysel memorial plaque on the Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand at Anfield this morning.

The names of all 39 victims can be found in the clubs official publication here.
